The girl who got egg all over my sculpture took my jacket in to be dry cleaned and apparently it won't be ready until tomorrow. My last class to work on it is today and it's due Wednesday. fml.

Today has been quite successful, I believe.
First off, my MK order came in, so I was able to drop off some products at one of my neighbor's house. Then I also stopped by the bank, and got my account number and routing number so I could set up my Propay account. Set up my Propay account and worked on transactions.
Then I cleaned the kitchen a bit (it was so bad I kinda wanted to cry every time I saw it), a little bit on my room/desk and scrubbed down the bathroom. Scrubbing=hard work/no fun. So I sprayed whatever soap I was supposed to use, and scrubbed scrubbed scrubbed, but then getting the soap back off the tiles is really hard. The floor is still kinda sticky >_<
My nails are such a mess *cries* I took off my nail polish yesterday and yeah...if you've ever wanted to know what the nails of someone who always nail polish looks like, well here you go...
I'll probably leave my nail polish off for a few weeks to let them heal.

So tonight- last night.
Mom made sangria. I drank a lot. It was/is amazing.
I was soooooo happy. I think it's weird how sometimes when I get drunk, I'm very very happy, and other times, well, I'm just drunk.
Only problem is, when I drink, I get tired. So I crashed on my bed around 1 (or maybe it was 12:30). And promptly woke up every half hour/ hour or so and checked my computer for continued conversations, never bothering to tell the people I had crashed and was sleeping, which was why I wasn't responding. I feel kinda bad because people were probably wondering why I stopped talking to them, and I didn't get back to them before they logged off.
After a few hours, and everyone had gone to sleep, I woke up around 3:30 am. I took Zoie out for her night pottie run and came back inside wide awake. I tried to go back to sleep and failed, so I started uploading contacts into my Mary Kay address book, which I've neglected doing for a while now.
I got a really bad case of the munchies, so I went downstairs and started eating some chocolate mousse pie that was in the fridge, but because I was naked, I got really really cold. Even though I wasn't hungry anymore,I needed to eat something warm, so I heated up some sort of diet meal that was in the fridge. Yes, it is crap. As Tom would say, food's not supposed to taste like that. It could be so much better and flavorful. But hell, what do I expect?
Anyway, I'm thinking I'll now either draw or read.

Me: Well I'm writing an essay about the significance of your character Sibyl Vane and how she not only is the key to unraveling Dorian's innocence, but also reveals your opinion towards women.

Me: The problem is, with the sources I have, I really need to stretch to make my point and I'm really not sure what my point is anyway because my outline jumps around a lot. Thus, this rough draft that's due Friday will either be spectacular, or fail miserably. I would prefer it be the former. Care to help?

On the way home, I started thinking about music and how it's stored. Isn't it an insanely bizarre thing to think that music- noise- sound is kept on little pieces of metal and plastic?? It's like changing sound into touch!
Then, I oddly started thinking about how I would imagine that music would be more like smoke- or more specifically, the chip would be more like smoke. You can hold on to it and hear it for a little bit before it just seeps out and goes away.
Does this make any sense?
P.S. Christmas is in 15 days.

Well I dunno- I really can't think of anything that I *really* want.
First thing that came to mind though, was my desire for a set of variously colored, completely unmatching, variously shaped, plastic spoons. I want blue ones, purple ones, yellow, green, orange, red- everything! I already have pink ones. I suppose it would be nice to have forks and knives though too. Also plastic, of course. I plan on bringing these to college~
Other than that (and maybe a new large paintbrush) I really can't come up with much.
Works for me though~ Lots of silver(plastic)ware!

So...last night I started 3 new paintings~ I'm very excited! I was able to go to bed really late last night, which makes me happy. I haven't been enjoying my lack of anti-sleepness. Somehow, I've managed to get oil paint on my mouse pad. Hm...
Today the sophomores and juniors had PSATs and we (the seniors) had to go to school. Ew. It wasn't fun and was totally pointless because he had a stupid assembly etc and the part of 4th pd along with 5th and 6th in which we did nothing productive. But I suppose it could have been worse- I mean, I did get to actually talk and interact with my friends, which, now a days, never seems to happen. Ever.
Was happy to find that my best friend is still my best friend. I was afraid that we had started to grow apart, but it seems to be ok still. I wonder what's going to happen when we go to college though- I mean, she's not going to any college even near me. I suppose though, if we were able to survive me going Japan then we can survive college, in which we're only a few states away. But who knows. People change, life changes. I'll just have to wait and find out what's in store.

Haha, the painting I was obsessed with working on now doesn't really interest me so much...残念 well I need to finish it for a college piece, so I guess I can't abandon it. Trying to finish by Wednesday night 'cause I have a portfolio review (for feedback) at Boston U on Friday and we'll leave Thursday right after driver's ed ends. Highly doubt I can finish it 'cause I still have a few other things I need to work on/fix up (I fixed up 2 paintings tonight) and I certainly won't finish it if I keep getting distracted like this but whatever, I suppose. No sleep Wednesday~ I'm sure I can handle that for one day~
I'm happy though because I've been coming up with all these ideas of things I'd like to paint- now it's all a matter of what I like the best. I'm considering doing the idea that I came up with when I was taking a shower 'cause it's more emotional than the other piece which is more creative and colleges are all "EMOTIONS!!!!!!!" for portfolios, it seems.
Have you ever felt almost a slight, well, resentment towards couples? I mean, they've got someone to rely on and to care for and someone who is the feels the same way back- a hand to hold, a lap to rest on- a connection with someone. A connection different than the type with friends. Well that feeling is the inspiration for my painting. I'm rather pleased with the idea, because it's not going to be blatantly emo, because what I am feeling isn't emo- it's more of a detachment, I suppose and I think I can translate that well into a painting. I'm thinking I'll make the canvas a square- 1x1 ft, which will be my smallest piece I've done in quite a long time.

Well, I seem to have survived the SATs. Wasn't sure that would happen. I'm sure I did better 'cause I'd just really have to fail at life if I did worse but it still wasn't a pleasant experience. I'm just hoping I did well enough that I won't have to take it in December. I skipped some, but sometimes I didn't finish in time! Well actually, that happened quite a lot, or while I was in the middle of working on a problem that I had skipped earlier even though I knew how to do it, but knew it would take a while to do...not cool.
I have Japanese and Literature SAT 2s next month. Gotta start brushing up on that now that this is done~

Wow- I've been gone a while- since April in fact...basically, I just painted my nails and they're not dry yet, which means there's really nothing I can do or touch other than do computer stuff. Nothing to do on my other sites, thus, here I am! Looks like I lost a lot of friends in my almost 6 month absence and gotten really off track on what's going on in everyone's lives. Guess that's to be expected!
Updates- now, being a senior, I'm applying to colleges, etc. I plan on majoring in art and minoring in Japanese, so I'm looking into Carnegie Mellon, NYU, Boston U and Temple U.
During the summer, I went to the Maryland Institute College of Art, studying oil painting. My friend that I met there who lives in Florida, Kendall, is up for the weekend visiting me. She's asleep in the other room right now- she actually sleeps at night, unlike myself. I'm thinking it would be a good idea to try and catch up on my sleep on the weekend, so I think I'll go to bed around 12 tonight.
I just went to see Hairspray today, it was good, but not as much as I'd expected. The acting wasn't up to par and a lot of the storyline was very clique. What a shame. :(
Anyway, I suppose this is a good start to my beginning of using lj again.

Been mailing with Saitou a bit since over in Japan, it's around 5 in the afternoon. He went skiing today~
Otherwise, I've just been making some adjustments to my HP and listening to Angela Aki. I wanted to put 中ノ森Band- i Need Love lyrics on the page, but whenever I found a site with lyrics, it wouldn't let me copy them...same thing happened with Angela Aki- This Love, but I knew all the kanji I needed to to just type it up myself (well actually, I just found a copy in romaji and then looked at my cd for the few kanji I didn't know)
